MODO Medical Design

MODO Medical Design was founded by Doug Patton and Morgan McKeown, longtime friends and neighbors who had collaborated on several highly successful medical devices over the past two decades.  Doug and Morgan were frustrated that many amazing ideas were not reaching patients due to the sluggish pace, limited vision, lack of creativity, and poor execution demonstrated by many existing medical device companies.  They started MODO with an audacious vision: Change the world by launching revolutionary medical concepts that would become new standards of care and improve the lives of millions of patients and health care providers.  While initially focused on universal wireless solutions for the hospital, the company’s efforts quickly expanded to include partnerships with groundbreaking inventors in automated blood pressure control, patient temperature management, and adaptive altitude therapy.  Now, MODO works on an expanding portfolio of innovative solutions, all of which have the potential to be blockbuster successes in the healthcare industry.
